Cod - 60-150 cm.
Atlantic cod is primarily caught by trawlers in the North Atlantic Ocean and the Barents Sea. Cod is one of the most popular fish in the world. The flesh of the cod is white with a firm texture. Cod is mainly used salted, dried, and for fresh or frozen fillets.
Cod is caught all year round.
Cod is available as frozen whole fish or fillets, skin-on or skinless. Packed either IQF, layer or in industrial blocks.
